The Club has a variety of volunteer opportunities available to individuals of all ages, talents, and abilities.  Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities:

Activity Volunteer

The Club utilizes a variety of volunteers on a daily basis to assist youth with homework, reading, and other activities.  Activity volunteers are generally asked to commit to a schedule (i.e. Mondays 4:00-5:00) and to a period of time (Jan-May) In addition Activity Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 10 hours of volunteerism. Many Activity Volunteers include BYU TOPS students, high school volunteers, and community members.

A few things to keep in mind as an Activity Volunteer:

  • From start to finish it takes approximately 2 weeks to complete the volunteer application process
  • We run background checks on every volunteer
  • Scheduled volunteers are required to attend a mandatory orientation
  • Volunteers are expected to know and keep Club rules and remind youth of rules when necessary
  • You will get the most out of your experience if you are pro-active in getting to know the youth at the Club

Special Initiative Volunteer

The Club appreciates Special Initiative Volunteers as they help complete specialized projects or activities at the Club.  These volunteers consist of student groups, organizational groups, church groups, Eagle Scouts, etc that volunteer their time and energy in creating a positive place for kids.  Below are a list of a few ideas that a group of individuals could do for the Club:

  • Plan and/or run an activity for Club youth
  • Throw a fundraiser for the Club
  • Create art, school, or health kits for Club youth

Call the Club anytime for up-to-date volunteer projects.
